After taking a skillion photos on my recent road trip throughout New Mexico, I think it’s time to get off my ass and officially “fire up” my long dormant blog. I hope you all enjoy the photos I post as much as I love taking them!
My dear friend of 20+ years, Jim Irvine, was touring the western United States in his bitchen’ new 40′ RV and invited me to join him. A bohemian nomad since childhood (thanks Mom and Dad), I’ve never been able to say no to a road trip adventure, so I carved a week out of my calendar, loaded up my little Norwich Terrier, Grizzly Bear, a few cameras and caught a flight from John Wayne airport in Newport Beach to Albuquerque, NM. Jim picked us up and after a quick tour of old town Albuquerque and a huge plate of local New Mexican chile and cheese enchiladas, we headed down even the bitchen-er Route 66 on our way to Santa Fe.
Here is one of the first photos I made along the way with my iPhone, of HiWay House Motel.
Thanks for looking, please let me know what you think and stay tuned for more!
